Meet the teams: Group D – Sweden

Sweden has played two tournaments; EOC during Partille cup 2017 which they finished as an undefeated team, and Scand Iberico in Norway 2017 with a new team who clashed with Spain, Portugal, and Norway. They took points against Portugal and Norway but lost to Spain. Sweden will put their faith into goalkeepers Fabian Norsten, Simon Möller, and Kristian Zetterlund.

The head coach Dennis Sandberg believes his team can go far in the competition: “I think we have a really good team and I hope we can be one of the contenders for the semi-finals. We are a team that likes to play fast. I think we have all it takes to make it harder for the other teams.”

Player Walter Chrintz is excited to play for his motherland: “This is something every player dreams about, to represent your country.”
